Start of Event
As the scale and scope of the environmental and social issues confronting the world become ever more apparent, so too does the need for impact investing. Fixed income portfolio specialist Michael Ganske explains, how investors have a key role to play in addressing the growing shortfall in investment required to address global challenges.
Sustainability investors face a dilemma which common strategies cannot solve: Standard “ESG”-Strategies do not follow a decarbonization path and are hence not Paris-Aligned, while typical “Paris-aligned” strategies will not score well in terms of ESG. We will show you not only how to combine a superior ESG strategy with a clear decarbonization target, but also how to blend it with a classical fundamental analysis to also outperform the Benchmark.
Sustainable investing is not only a question about avoiding investing in the companies that are part of the problem, or showing no signs of a fast transition. It is also about investing in innovation and progress by identifying and investing in the companies best positioned to solve the world’s biggest challenges.
