When it comes to investing in US equities, investors usually tend to keep an eye on the big tech names. However, the universe of small-cap companies should not be overlooked. It covers a wide range of sectors, industries and factors compared to the relatively narrow large-cap market. We spoke to Michele Ward, Portfolio Specialist in the U.S. Equity Division at T. Rowe Price, about the attractiveness of US Small Caps. She highlights why the asset class has done remarkably well in the current complex environment of rapidly rising costs of capital, high inflation and weak growth and talks about the most attractive sectors.
