The rapid spread of AI in our daily lives is also shining a spotlight on the asset management industry. Long known as a form of quantitative strategy, the question arises as to how AI is changing investing and how investors can benefit from the technology. We spoke to David Wright, Co-Head of Quest, Quantitative Business Strategy at Pictet Asset Management, about the state of AI development in the field of quantitative investments, the role of human analysts as well as challenges or limitations and opportunities.
