According to HSBC Asset Management, especially airports, a vital part of the infrastructure asset class, face evolving dynamics as business travel declines while hybrid travel grows.
“While we foresee some additional complexities for the industry (greater seasonality, higher capillarity), the broad outlook for demand growth remains robust, underpinning the key attractions for exposure to an industry with GDP+ growth potential,” said Andy Jones, Managing Principal Listed Infrastructure Equity, at HSBC AM.
